Who this comparison is for
You already know you need automation. The question is whether you buy a dedicated rule engine and keep building campaigns by hand, or buy a platform where launching and automation live in the same place.
Revealbot is an automation product. It manages ad campaigns across several ad platforms from one dashboard, adjusts bids and budgets on rules you define, and reports on what happened. If you want a rule for almost anything, this is the category leader people compare everything else against.
Koast is the operating system around the whole cycle. Creative comes in through a review pipeline, structure templates apply naming and tracking, a batch publishes into every selected ad account in one run, and agent tasks then run on the live account every five minutes. The teams on it have processed more than 1.5 billion dollars in ad spend.
If your campaigns rarely change shape and the work is purely tuning what is live, Revealbot deserves a serious look. If a meaningful share of your week goes on building and shipping the next batch, the table below is where the difference shows up.
Koast vs Revealbot, capability by capability
| Capability | Koast | Revealbot |
|---|---|---|
| Where the product focuses | The full loop, from approved creative to live ads to guardrails | Automating and managing campaigns that are already live |
| Rule based automation on live campaigns | ||
| Automation cadence | Checks every 5 minutes on every plan | Configurable check schedules by plan |
| Channels covered | Meta in depth, TikTok live, Whop coming soon | Several ad platforms from one dashboard |
| Batch launch across multiple ad accounts in one run | Up to 10 ad accounts on Growth | Has its own ad creation tooling, with automation as the core product |
| Creative review and approval before launch | Frame.io, Google Drive, Dropbox, direct upload | Automation first, not a creative pipeline |
| AI agent that reads the account and drafts the change | Agent chat on every screen | Rules are configured in a rule builder |
| Publish without a Business Manager seat per teammate | Content manager and media buyer roles | Access follows your Meta permissions |
| Pricing model | Flat monthly fee, never a percentage of ad spend | Plan tiers that scale with monthly ad spend |

Three things Koast does differently
Launching is a first class job
Pick creatives once, apply a structure template for campaign, ad set and ad naming plus tracking parameters, and publish into every selected ad account in a single confirmed run. Koast resolves page, pixel and conversion event per account first and flags whatever is not ready.
Creative gets there without a download
Assets arrive from Frame.io, Google Drive, Dropbox or a direct upload, get reviewed and approved in place, and move straight into a draft campaign. The handoff between the people who make ads and the people who buy them stops being a folder.
Rules you can describe in a sentence
Say what you want in plain language, for example pause any ad past fifty dollars of spend with no conversion attributed in Cometly, and the agent builds the task. It runs every five minutes across every connected account and recaps into Slack.
How a launch actually runs
- Creative arrives in the pipeline from Frame.io, Google Drive, Dropbox or a direct upload.
- Review notes and approval happen in place, and approval triggers the launch workflow.
- A structure template applies naming conventions and UTM parameters across the whole batch.
- Koast checks page, pixel and conversion event for every ad account before it will publish.
- You confirm one summary screen and the ads go live across every selected account.
- Agent tasks take over with stop losses, budget rules and a recap into your reporting channel.
When Revealbot is the better fit
Revealbot has been doing automation for a long time and it is very good at it. Two situations where we would point you there without hesitation. First, if a large share of your budget sits on ad platforms outside Meta and you want one rule engine covering all of them, Revealbot's breadth across channels is a genuine advantage that Koast does not match today. Second, if your team thinks in rules and wants to hand build highly specific conditions on custom metrics, a dedicated rule builder gives you more surface area than a conversational agent does.
The pricing model is worth checking against your own numbers too. Revealbot prices in tiers that scale with monthly ad spend, so the comparison against a flat fee flips depending on where your budget sits. On smaller spend it can come out ahead. As spend grows, a flat fee stops moving and a spend linked plan does not.
They are also not exclusive. Koast connects through the official Meta API and does not lock the account, so running both on the same ad account while you evaluate is fine.
Questions people ask before switching
Can Koast replace my Revealbot rules?
Most common guardrails translate directly: spend thresholds, ROAS and CPA floors, conversion counts from Meta or from Cometly, budget changes and scheduled pauses. Bring your current rule list to a demo and we will tell you honestly which ones map and which ones do not.
How often do automations run?
Every five minutes, on both Growth and Enterprise. There is no slower tier for automation frequency.
Does Koast charge on ad spend?
No. Growth is 149 dollars per month billed monthly, or 111 dollars per month billed annually, with a seven day trial. Enterprise is a scoped annual agreement. The price does not move when your spend does.
Which channels can Koast automate?
Meta is the deep integration for launching and automation, and TikTok is live. Whop ad account creation is on the roadmap. If most of your budget is on other platforms, say so early and we will tell you whether it is a fit yet.
How many ad accounts and teammates are included?
Growth covers up to ten ad accounts and includes teammate seats plus content manager and media buyer roles. Enterprise removes the limits on accounts, seats and launching, and adds admin team tracking and view only reporting access.
